We have electric vehicle (EV) charging stations installed at the Clayton and Caulfield campuses for staff, students and visitors to use to charge their vehicles. 这些充电器的电力是免费的, however you must pay for parking through the CellOPark app.

The rapid chargers (50kW) are available for public use. The fast chargers (22kW) are only available for Monash University staff and students.
Using the charging station and paying for parking
Charging is currently free, however a valid parking session is required for your parking.
- Download the CellOPark Australia and Chargefox apps on your smartphone.
- Drive to campus and park your vehicle in a charging bay.
- 开始停车练习 in the CellOPark app using the zone codes shown on the parking signs.
- 在Chargefox应用程序中找到充电站. Unlock the station in the app and then plug in your vehicle. Charging history can also be accessed using the Chargefox app.

The CellOPark code 3800821 enables you to park in both the EV bays and the Blue permit areas. You can keep the same session running if you move your vehicle between these areas.

The CellOPark code 3800820 enables you to park in both the EV bays and the metered areas. You can keep the same session running if you move your vehicle between these areas.

Rapid charging - The Tritium Veefil is a ‘Level 3’ DC rapid charger designed and built by Queensland based company Tritium. It can rapidly charge either fully EVs or compatible plug-in hybrids from various manufacturers. The rapid charger has a parking time limit of 1 hour, and is limited to one vehicle at a time.
Fast charging - The Schneider EV Link is a three-phase AC ‘Level 2’ charger designed for use by staff and students. 它的充电速度比Veefill慢, which makes it suitable for charging during the day and is compatible with all vehicles, 包括插电式混合动力车. The EV Link charger has a parking time limit of 4 hours, and the vehicle must be actively charging whilst parked in the bay. 它可以同时容纳两辆车. In all instances, a valid parking session must always be active for your vehicle when parked in a charging bay. Once your vehicle has finished charging you must move it to another car park to ensure the charging stations are available for others to use.
The charging stations use the Chargefox app to allow for simple and instant operation. The Chargefox app can be downloaded from the Google Play or App Store.

To use the Schneider EV Link station, you will need to bring your own charging cable. Plug your cable into the socket on the charging station then into the car.
The Tritium Veefil charger is compatible with all vehicles that support DC fast charging via either the CHAdeMO or CCS standards (CCS2). This includes vehicles such as the Nissan LEAF, Mitsubishi i-MiEV, and BMW i3 (2018). Tesla drivers may also use this charger by using the Model S/X CHAdeMO adapter available from Tesla.
The Schneider EV Link charger is fitted with Type 2 AC charging sockets; a Type 2 to Type 1 or Type 2 to Type 2 charging cable is required. This is the most common type of connector and is compatible with all models.
The Tritium Veefil DC rapid charger has a rated power of 50kW (80 amps). 日产聆风这样的车, this is equivalent to adding up to 70km of range per 15 minutes of charging time
